2.8.1 Causality

Causality can be a generative force operating within causal reciprocal relationships, showing potential nonlinear effects of strengthening small changes in the dynamic entities involved  with the potential of spiral development (multiplier effect).

How does it work?

  1. chronic pain disorders, vaginismus, but also sqeeking of a microphone in front of a speaker: cyclic causality
  2. teaching = learning (Comenius effect; Vygotsky, 1978), but also bigger amplitude by interference of waves: mutual or reciprocal causality
  3. the butterfly-effect, pointilism, the rich get richer (Thomas effect): emergent causality
